From Here to Everywheree

At Oxford Baptist Church, we believe the Gospel is the hope of the world. Inspired by the command in Acts 1:8—"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth"—we are committed to sharing the truth of Christ at every level.

Our mission is to glorify God as we gather, grow, give, and go. This is not just a global task; it begins right here in our own hearts and our own community:

• Local Missions: Our mission field begins right outside our doors. We are committed to evangelism within our own community, inviting neighbors to hear the Gospel and serving those around us through practical acts of love and discipleship.
• Regional Missions: We seek to extend the light of Christ throughout our region, partnering with others to strengthen the witness of the church and reach those who have yet to hear the truth.
• International Missions: Recognizing our responsibility to the "nations," we are dedicated to supporting the Gospel’s reach to the uttermost parts of the earth. Through prayer, giving, and sending, we strive to be faithful stewards of the Good News globally.
